It’s historic for all the wrong reasons. He really is a felon, and yet many knowingly voted for the guy who is officially a convicted crook, and who this past week was sentenced …
We all already knew he was a felon before the election. The vote does not change his “felon” status in any way. Instead it tells us just how morally bankrupt many are, and that includes the 81% of evangelicals who supported him.
What are Democrats, the courts, and the Justice Dept going to do to stop Trump and hold him accountable?
“We’re gonna call him a felon!”
Ok, but what restrictions or penalties or consequences will he face?
“We called him a felon. Didn’t you hear us. He is a felon.”
But what will that do?
“FELON!“
… and so there basically is the problem. He is not being held accountable for his criminal actions. For the very first time in history a person was convicted of 34 felonies and there were no consequences.
So much for the party of law and order.

We need to see the report regarding the last time before it gets buried …
- Biden’s biggest failure has been Garland.
As for this time around, Jon Stewart sums it up: “Ultimately the certification ceremony went off without a hitch… it’s amazing how smoothly our democracy works when you don’t act like a little bitch if you lose.”
Meanwhile, many are still in denial about what happened last time …
- After Congress certified the results of the 2024 presidential election, Rick Green thanked God that “there wasn’t the same chaos as four years ago” when “the election was stolen” and “the Constitution was violated.”
- Joel Webbon asserts that “Jan. 6 was not that bad and, in fact, there were a lot of things that were honorable and should be esteemed.“
- Rick Green claims the Jan. 6 Capitol Insurrection was little more than “an opportunity for the left to create their own version of the Reichstag Fire.“
It truly is hard to imagine that the guy who initiated the carnage four years ago won the election. The degree of moral rot is deeply astonishing …

Religious-right activist Laurie Cardoza-Moore is already planning on using the Trump administration to impose Christian nationalist education standards on the nation’s public schools: “The republic actually came out of the Torah.“
- I don’t need to tell you this, but for completeness … no, that claim is BS. She is either deeply ignorant or deeply malicious; neither is a good look.
- She means it. Quote via here: “I have reached out to Linda McMahon requesting a meeting with her about education reform,” Cardoza-Moore said. “The Trump administration needs to implement the policy that Gov. DeSantis implemented in the state of Florida.“

- The observation that the Trump Spokesman is named “Adolfo Franco” seems a bit on the nose. If this was a book the publisher would have choked on that, and not gone along with it.
- I just love all Mehdi’s interviews. He forensically dissects the position held by fools. Critically sharp, and a possessor of a huge armoury of real facts because he know his information intimately, he doesn’t fail.

Far-right “prophet” Kent Christmas declares that God will soon kill President Biden for awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom to George Soros.
- A “prophet” predicting that an 82 year old guy will die “soon” is a classic example of how the scam works. Predict something obvious and make it vague so that your marks can see it as a hit when it happens. You need to be deeply gullible to buy into this BS – sadly many are indeed exactly that.
- Meanwhile, the same God approves of Trump selling Presidential Medals of Freedom.
Speaking of being vague, “Prophet” Charlie Shamp issued a remarkably vague prophecy about “an unusual unity” that will appear in the Senate at some point in the future. The prophecy was so laughably nebulous that just about anything that happens will “confirm” it.
- Good enough for his cult followers, and correctly viewed as BS by everybody else.
“Prophetess” Kat Kerr reports that she has dispatched a million “special ops” angels to Washington DC to protect Trump during his inauguration.

Lance Wallnau is rushing off to South Korea to help Christians fight the “coup” against President Yoon Suk Yeol, who was recently impeached for attempting to impose martial law on the nation.
- Support for a far-right dictator … gosh, we have never seen Lance do that before.
West Virginia has a fund set aside for water infrastructure improvements. A brand new Catholic college in Ohio is receiving $5 million of it. $1 million of that is reserved for anti-abortion advocacy. Why?
- The answer is that some very blatant corruption is happening here, but with only a minority of Democrats they don’t have the numbers to call for an investigation.
Lance Wallnau declares that far-right British activist Tommy Robinson is “very courageous” and “a folk hero.”
- For those wondering “who is Tommy Robinson?”, well … via Wikipedia we learn he is … a UK far-right fascist currently in jail for contempt of court.
- He is deemed a “hero” by some because he stood outside a court where some guys where on trial accused of raping minors and screams that they were “Muslim child rapists“. The Judge needed to rule against him because his antics threatened to derail the trial.
